With our own facilities, specialist employees and more than a century of experience, we check our seeds at several stages of the process.
120+ years of experience
Since 1904, we have been building our knowledge of garden seeds, varieties and cultivation. We apply that experience to every seed batch we process.
9,000+ laboratory tests per year
Every year, we carry out more than 9,000 laboratory tests. Seed batches are checked for factors including germination and mechanical purity. Only batches that meet our quality standards are released for further processing.
1500+ varieties
We keep many varieties in stock. This means we can respond quickly to many enquiries, from familiar varieties to more specific cultivars.
In-house management
From quality control and cleaning to storage and delivery, we carry out many steps ourselves. This gives us control over quality, traceability and the reliable handling of every seed batch.
Looking ahead with our range
We work to preserve open-pollinated varieties and test our crops in our trial garden and greenhouses. This helps us build a reliable range for today and tomorrow.
